About the role

We are looking for an all-rounded and passionate HR Manager to join our team in Malaysia. You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day HR operations and collaborating with the leadership team to ensure HR practices align with the company’s goals and values.

Job Description

  • Manage full spectrum of HR functions including recruitment, payroll, compensation and benefits, employee relations, training and development, performance management and other HR related support services
  • Recruits personally the key talents as per business needs and facilitate a smooth onboarding process
  • Handle the processing of monthly payroll and ensure the Company meets all statutory and electronic financial services regulatory obligations
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
  • Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and conflict resolution
  • Implement employee engagement initiatives to boost morale and retention
  • Oversee the performance appraisal process and provide guidance to managers on performance issues
  • Acts as the performance improvement driver and provokes positive changes in the people management
  • Cooperation with Regional HR to drive and implement HR projects/initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local employment laws and regulations
  • Actively identifies gaps, proposes and implement changes necessary to cover risks
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices and legislative changes
  • Maintain monthly employee data information and provide HR reports as per request
  • Manage HR budgets and ensure cost-effective HR operations
  • Assist with all internal and external HR-related matters

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields
  • At least 5 years of Human Resources experience especially in Talent Acquisition and/or HR Operations
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment and handle multiple priorities
  • Results-orientation and excellent time management skills
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws and regulations
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to details
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Experienced in fintech industry will be a plus
